Oi gosh what a heck of a day! So I wake up superdyduper early to go to my mom's lab to help disect rats and stuff (for a reward cause I kicked butt on PSATs). I got to wear this funky yellow surgeon's covering thing which was pretty cool and I got to remove 4 rat spinal cords which was pretty kickass if I do say so myself. I maintain that the next time that happens, I'm wearing a mask cause 1 1/2 hours of smelling freshly dead sanitised rat blood is not the most pleasant scent in the world. At least I can get nearly a whole spinal cord without breaking it. Mostly. And I don't cut too far away from the backbone, so no guts spill out. Yesterday, my friend accidentally cut too far and when she squeezed to get a better hold on the backbone, out came the kidneys. >.> It was pretty amusing actually. They just went: ploop.
Then, we left at 2:00 to go to school to go to Arcadia Scrimmage. And it turns out that a crane (yes a big metal yellow one) had crashed or overturned or something on the 405-101 junction right behind a car accident involving an SUV and a big rig. So that kinda sucked. And we stayed on the 405 for 3 hours. We started by moving about 2 mph and ended up moving about 0 mph. We saw some guys walking past us, and then some more, and then a James clone. It was amusing. Mom was kinda hanging off the right shoulder for a while so I got out and took a walk. And as I was going back, these police cars started yelling at people to get off the shoulder, except no one could really get off unless they were let off by the cars in the right lane. So I had to run back to the car, hop in and yeah...
So after a while, we noticed that we were neck in neck with a Walmart truck, so we started racing it. We would gain an inch and it would gain an inch and the goal was to eventually beat the truck. Unfortuneatly, the inner lane went faster and soon it had gained about 40 feet (huge for today). And when they opened all the lanes finally (after 2 3/4 hours) all the other lanes started going except for us, so Mom merged in and found out that there was car parked in our lane. >.> But then we went to Arcadia.
So the Scrimmage started at 4:00 and I got there at 6:00. Yay me. And it was fun except for the fact that there was like...2 chem questions. Which made me sad. =( And that stupid policy about what stalling means. Gee. But my team is making me happy. whoo. And tomorrow is Acadec. Yay! win win win
So UCLA makes a good Cobb salad. And has an excellent burger place. Avocados are the yum. And I just accidentally punched the staircase. Oww.

It's a new year and therefore, I am back at LJ. Actually, that's not true cause junior year is a hell of a lot of work, but it's a New Year! 2007. Specialmuch?
These past days have been partypartypartypartyparty so now, it's back to work and back to the nonprocrastinating Angela. Haha as if that's possible. Seriously though, I've been out so much all I wanna do is curl up next to something fluffy and eat popcorn and watch movie marathons. Of the British variety. Or tear-jerking Asian dramas. Or Heath Ledger. Until Mom yells at me to do something productive. Which isn't likely to happen cause she's actually been impressed with my work ethic these days and has actually allowed me to go out a lot this past week. So MARATHON. Yeah...that's not gonna happen soon. =(
So.....resolutions: 1) BE LESS PROCRASTIATINGLIKE. That's a big one. I'm not gonna sleep much if this doesn't happen. Then again. I might not sleep much anyways. GAH SCHOOL SUCKS.
2) BE MORE FORGIVING. This is another big one. Once I started forgiving people for stupid stuff (and really stupid stuff), life became better. Except I'm still holding grudges so I need to work on this.
3) SLEEP MORE. See #1
4) GET OVER IT ALREADY. Except I don't want to. So this doesn't count.
So...three's the magic number here. Yay, I'm magical. And I didn't have to eat any pixie dust to be magical.
Some great memories from the past days: - "I want babies!" - "I want your babies!" - "We'll have each other's babies!" - "I'm mixing it up. Keeps my head sharp." - "His head is disporportionate to his body. HEAD TOO SMALL!" - "Melt this fork togther with that fork." - "No!!! That's my shoe!!! Give me back my shoe!!! Oooo...it's warm...."
More later. Toodles.

...is work. It is. It is. It is. This Wednesday marks the second time that we've got a 3 chapter Toy test and a Haut essay due on the same day. SAME DAY! And if we're gonna get our script ready to film over thanksgiving weekend, we've got to get it ready by Wednesday. We'll get it done. I have faith in us. And although I'd totally love the time today to write my essay, and study for all the other crap that I've got going on, I am more than excited for scrimmage! Even though I still can't talk sometimes cause I periodically lose my voice. But yay!!! WHY OH WHY MUST I GET SICK NOW!!?!? But I am so much better. Yesterday it was basically me and a chem book and a bio book sleeping in bed. And I couldn't talk at all. Now I can talk if I really try. WHOO!
I won't lie and say that junior year is sooooooo hard. It's just soooooo hard. Toy is easier this year, and I'm not losing points on pops like I used to. And he's giving a LOT of extra credit cause of the election thing. Yay midterm (elections)! Haut is harder than I expected, but I'm glad I have math second period. Discrete takes so much pressure off of me! No tests every week. No tests unless we want them. No pressure to get ahead. We're only on Chapter 4! =D And Jewett is a pain cause he keeps giving these god awful projects that we've got to do that would be fun if we didn't have all the rest of the stuff going on. yay....? And Chem is a breeze. I <3 it like I <3 not being sick. Even though I can still do it when I'm sick. =D
So now, to breakfast! And then to get studying done! Heehee gorsh.

Prop 86 rally today. Kathy, Supansa, and I dressed up as a big cigarette and stuck stickers on people. And got free food. And got free jamba juice. yumm....
Although, we (but mostly Angela and Anna and I) wanted to make fools of ourselves doing kareoke, but they closed down before we got there....=(
after the two weeks from hell, i really needed to go around stealing pens and bags and feeling fake boobs.
I dressed in color today.
pictures maybe on facebook if i can get them off my stupid, lovable camera.

Well after that horrible excuse for a day yesterday (consisting of me waking up an hour early and getting to Toy's class LATE due to the insane flippage of a van that blocked 3 lanes on the 170, a horrible mind blankage on a VOCAB QUIZ of all things, suprise sectionals and a yelling at when I was trying to help someone not get into trouble, a running about frantically trying to get things done at lunch when I was supposed to be at Math Club facing the dictator, and cookie stealage so that I sadly did not get to eat the cookie that I wanted) I must say that today was about 10 times, nay, 100000002357195871895719057 times better.
Woke up on time. Got to school 20 minutes early. Sweet. Did not fail Toy pop. Awesome. Graded papers instead of doing math. Wonderful. Analyzed poetry. Happiness that I can understand Bradstreet. No suprise sectionals. Yay that I can play the part at D. And no pop quizes in Spanish and Chem. Got to make fun of stupid jew and his freshman-i-mean-sophomore twin while they were running. Heehee. And....I finished all my homework way before 7:00, so I had absolutly nothing to do except study for the future and that was relaxed studying, not frantic crammage. AND.....I get to sleep early today.
So on that note, let's hope this good luck phase lasts! Good night.

And I am beginning my daily regimen of falling asleep at the library, yet again. Today I was awakened by some kid staring at me, and I was too paranoid to fall asleep again. However, those 15 minutes were good. Very good. Gosh I need to sleep.
All in all, it's not a bad day other than the fact that the library computers are SUPER SLOW and DON"T WORK.

My blood pressure has risen so much in the last hour...that....URG!
Microsoft Word has decided to go metric on me. And something is lost in translation between the computer and the printer because the margins have decided to take a walk and leave their mess lying around.
The internet DOES NOT WORK! I must fix it every few minutes in hopes of getting anything done.
GRRRRRRR......I need to sleep. And take a pill. Otherwise, if I am in front of the computer anymore, I WILL EXPLODE!

A three day week. That was probably the most tiring week I've had in a long time, and it was only 3 days!!! I started feeling sleepy around 3rd period and by 9:00 I was dying. Except I couldn't go to sleep, because those devious elves had stolen my 3-hole punch and replaced it with a 7-hole punch. And I had "things" to do. So, when I finally did go to sleep, an hour later, I fell asleep for 11 hours. I haven't been able to fall alseep at 10:00 for 3 months now. Darndit.
A 3 day weekend! And so much work to do! *sigh*
In other news, I just found out that the noise being made by my laptop is the bad battery that is currently being recalled by Apple. And that my battery is liable to explode any moment if I continue using it. wtf? First the desktop has no Word and then my laptop has no battery? mucho comupter trouble.

Ahhh...the fruits of sophomore year (wait...what fruits)....Never again shall I taste thy sweet nectar....(WHAT FRUITS????)
It is the start of a new year, and not a bad one at that. I've totally gotten over my summer, because at last, it is back to the harsh, note-taking, dog-eat-dog, test cram, pop cram, AP cram, learning world of SCHOOL. Junior year! Time flies by so quickly. Little freshmen have grown up (not really) into sophomorons, and new little freshmen have taken their place. One of them, whose name escapes me at the moment was my tour guide buddy! (Sorry buddy, I forgot your name) and a whole bunch of them are awesome (although they seem to have forgone the quad for another, more desirable (?) or easier to find (???) place).
So besides totally failing at chem life, (that made me horribly depressed) and getting Toy first period (making me horribly depressed more), the day was wonderful, much better than I anticipated. I think getting back into the groove made me snap out of my summer funk, and that classes will be a welcome distraction to any drama that may come my way. Someone up there likes me (and I like you too!) so I am totally grateful for everything working out the way it is.
Why, you people who decide to view this new lj, is she making a new lj? Well, the answer, my fine feathered friends, is that I need a change. I am no longer naive little girl who made my previous lj. I am disillusioned teenager, who has had enough of a summer to need to start everything fresh. Yay for me. I have not been inclined to type anything in the other and I think it serves better as a memory of what I was than a present thing of who I am.
Life goes on, my friends. Life goes on.
And now, I must admit, life is good.
